About My Role

ASUW Arts + Entertainment is a student-led organization at the University of Washington focused on staging unique programming in music, comedy, and art.

As the Multimedia Designer and Program Coordinator, I collaborated closely with other university student organizations, talent agencies, and corporate marketing teams to curate and design programming for an audience of over 46,000 students. I was tasked to research trends in the music/entertainment industry and develop events that are responsive to the current environment while also managing a volunteer base and facilitating engagement from our community.

I developed digital and physical posters, filmed and edited video spots, and created engaging gifs and other social media assets. Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, we were able to grow our social media presence and following.

A Virtual Conversation with Pete Davidson

For our main event of the Spring, we aimed to create a campaign that evoked a sense of playfulness and relief to round out what had been a long, exhaustive year of online learning. We rolled out a colorful, eye-catching design identity with posters, video montages, and gifs to engage our audience.

The Daydream Club with Jordan Nicholson

The first installment of an event series that invites local creatives and alum to shed light on their life post-grad, and share any tips and advice for students. Our marketing rollout includes beautiful photography by Jordan Nicholson, animated visuals, and graphics for Jordan's Instagram takeover.

Beyond 60 seconds with Brittany Broski

In collaboration with the Residential Programming Board (RPB), we designed the marketing campaign and event itinerary for our first virtual comedy show of the school year. We created montages of Brittany Broski's Tik Tok videos to spark interest in fans and folks who weren't familiar with her work.
